Mirrored panels disappear in any terrain.
GhostBlind innovative mirrored panels point toward the ground to reflect the surroundings while avoiding unwanted glare and animal detection. The fluted design provides structure while the polypropylene material makes it shatterproof and waterproof. Lightweight for easy transport and set up, the GhostBlind virtually disappears in any terrain.

See the GhostBlind® Comparison Chart for a side-by-side comparison of the Predator, Phantom and Runner blinds.
GhostBlind® ground blinds have mirrored panels that reflect the ground in front of the blind; approximately 6-8' out from the base of the blind.
When the blind is set up, the panels are angled forward eliminating the possibility of sun reflecting to game. If you set up the blind on a slope or hill avoid the top of the hill as this will cause silhouetting. If you move down the hill, the blind will set up with the angle of the slope, thereby eliminating the sun reflecting to the game.
Not unless the game comes within 3' - 5' of the GhostBlind®.
It could appear darker, but it will not spook game. Keep in mind there are shadows caused by trees and clouds everywhere.
Game does not rationalize why a shadow appears in one place and not another. For example, we have all seen shadows quickly form across a field by fast-moving clouds.
No, the GhostBlind® folds with all mirrored panels to the inside and camouflage showing on the outside. It is impossible for the blind to reflect sunlight while in a folded position.
No. Use the included tent stakes and string to secure to the ground. This will hold down your blind very effectively. In extremely windy conditions, you may want to add extra tie-down strings or use a fallen tree branch to safely secure the GhostBlind in place. Keep in mind that the blind weighs 8-12 pounds and will move in a strong wind even if it is tied down. This will not reduce the effectiveness of the blind as everything around the blind is also moving in the wind.
The reflective panels will eventually get small scratches or pits but these marks will not reduce the effectiveness of the blind. Game will never see these marks. All mirrors fold to the inside and are protected when transported. Do not store your blind in your truck or car as the prolonged continuous vibrations of the mirrored panels against each other will cause etch marks, especially if the blind is dirty.
The blinds are shipped with a protective film on the mirrors. The film should be removed before using the GhostBlind®.
The adhesive used to attach the shatterproof plastic mirrored panels to the plastic back panels never sets up completely. This allows for expansion and contraction of the blind in hot and cold weather. Since the adhesive remains flexible, it is possible that the mirrors could come loose over time. This is especially true if you leave the blind standing for a long period of time. The easiest way to prevent this is to occasionally fold up the blind, lay it flat on the floor and put approximately 15 pounds of weight on it overnight.
The GhostBlind® does not need to be set up prior to your hunt. If you plan to come back to the same spot the next day and do not want to carry it out, simply fold it up, put the bungee cords around it and lay it on the ground. The mirrors and back panels are made of materials that can withstand the weather.
See the GhostBlind® Comparison Chart for sizes of each blind.
The Predator, Phantom and Runner blinds include hand holes and a shoulder strap for easy transport. There are also optional carry packs available that are customized for each blind.
The blinds are made of materials that can get wet during your hunt or can be hosed off if needed. We highly recommend the blind be dried with a soft cloth after use to eliminate the possibility of mildew forming.
Special care should be taken to lay your GhostBlind® flat in your car or truck to keep from warping the panels in the extreme heat. If the panels should become warped, simply lay the blind flat and apply approximately 15 pounds for a short period of time to straighten the panels.
